Will 4-to-an-Inside Cabin Cruisers Have Room Envy?

Were big fans of group cruising. Pick the right ship and you can easily accommodate wildly disparate tastes for seven nights. But some of reviewer of the week live2vayk s choices had us a little worried. She was sailing on Royal Caribbeans Freedom of the Seas as part of a four-family, 16-passenger crew only her quartet was sardined in an inside cabin, while the other units enjoyed balcony views. The Holocaust and the sins of the father

A friend of mine got a lifetime achievement award recently, and it got me to thinking about the Holocaust again, something that’s never been completely out of my mind for the last 22 years.

Randolph L. Braham and I are an odd couple to be friends because our families were on different sides of the Holocaust. His emails to me over the last 20 years have always been signed Randy, but I call him Professor Braham out of respect.

Braham is distinguished professor emeritus of political science at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, director of the Rosenthal Center for Holocaust Studies there, and the author of more than 60 books on the Holocaust.

Video: QE2 to be based in Asia?

Is Queen Elizabeth 2, perhaps the most celebrated cruise ship in the world, heading for a new home in Asia?

After an epic party on the former Cunard liner over New Years in Dubai, a Macau-based events firm, Universal Events Management, created an Internet stir earlier this month when it released a press release stating that it had received the rights to represent QE2 in other locales, including Macau and Atlantic City.
