We the People is the online community that apparently likes to get high and hates the TSA.
See, the White House opened up the page on its website called We the People. Its a collective of ideas that are drawn up like petitions and then collects signatures to see how much people are really interested in them.
Since the page opened, people have been signing all kinds of things. As of Saturday morning, 1202 people want to see the end of tax payer subsidies of nuclear reactors. Another (or perhaps the same) group of 240 people want to allow base jumping at National Parks. Its the e-marketplace of ideas and popularity contest all at once.

Trying to make it into the job market or into a preferred university course can often be a challenge so gap year experts Real Gap Experience and i-to-i Volunteering have joined forces to create the Ultimate year Out Competition; a global Facebook search for two friends who will win a year working and travelling around the world.
All entrants are invited to produce an interactive video to show what the Ultimate Gap Year will look like and the Facebook page, which has attracted the attention of more than 45,000 users, will be used as a forum for people to vote on the best videos.
The winners will then be sent on the Ultimate Gap Year to gain the experience of a lifetime.
